“Yo tomé Panamá” es una novela histórica basada en la vida del ingeniero francés Philippe Bunau-Varilla, el hombre que ayudó a completar el Canal de Panamá convenciendo al gobierno de los Estados Unidos de detener la construcción del Canal de Nicaragua y en su lugar completar el Canal de Panamá, que Francia empezó a construir, pero no pudo terminar.

Rodolfo Leitón is the CEO at Coamesa, a consumer goods company that operates in Central America. Also, is a member of the University of Arkansas’ Walton College of Business’ Dean’s Alumni Advisory Council. Occasionally teaches entrepreneurship courses at the Universidad de Costa Rica, sits on the Board of a retail company, and is a co-founder of Colectivo Empresarial, a non-profit organization that seeks to inform society of the importance and benefits of the private sector. He initiated his career in Walmart in USA.

On his free time, Rodolfo likes to write screenplays and novels.

“I Took Panama” is a historical novel based on the life of French Engineer Philippe Bunau-Varilla, the man who helped complete the Panama Canal by convincing the United States Government to stop construction of the Nicaragua Canal and instead complete the Panama Canal, which France started to build but could not complete.
