The number of containers transported increased in 2019, as compared to those in 2018. For the Top 10 players, the increase was at close to half a million containers.
The new entry to the top 10 ocean freight forwarders in 2019 is FR MEYER’S SOHN Forwarding Business, a German company.
The top four ocean freight forwarders, Kuehne + Nagel, Sinotrans Ltd., DHL, and DB Shenker have kept their ranking while the rest of the top 10 ocean freight forwarders have jumped one spot in the ranking since 2018.
