We are living in times that are far from our well known normal. It’s uncomfortable, as habits need to dramatically change. On top of that, news about victims and the increasing number of affected people, by this crisis, are on the rise.  

Although it might not come naturally, make a conscious effort to keep an open mind on your career goals, and act on them.

1. Thinking the recession won’t affect your industry

Be alert to news about your industry. This is a new situation, unfolding before our eyes. Every new day brings more clues about what the future could be like. Be curious and ready to see your career path in new ways.

2. Thinking all hiring is frozen

Of course, we will see news of people losing their jobs. This can be disheartening. But it’s important to remember that in every crisis there is an opportunity. 

For example, sectors like E-commerce, Technology, or Healthcare are growing faster in these times. And are hiring.
