In this episode, I interviewed Linda Reddy, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Nando’s Group. As a leader in the supply chain, she is very passionate about the role that she plays, and it is evident that she loves the work that they do. Linda shared with me a brief background of Nando’s Group’s history and their core business. She shared some of the different projects they are doing inside the organization to promote South African culture and traditions- from crops to arts and music. One of their main goals is to give opportunities to small-scale farmers and artists to showcase their crafts.

Linda also shared what makes her different as a supply chain leader- from working in different industries to moving into a big city to take on a global role and taking the leadership role. She also shared their actions to measure carbon impact and how they choose who to partner and collaborate with to meet their sustainability goals. In addition, we also discussed how they are managing their supply chain and addressing challenges and disruptions that come their way. Lastly, Linda shared what she is looking for in a supply chain talent and why it is important to have more women in the supply chain.
