In this episode, I interviewed Alberto Zamora, Co-Founder and CEO of osapiens where we discussed the company’s mission to automate ESG compliance and supply chain risk management. Alberto shared what osapiens means and how the name came about, sharing as well the mission and vision of the company.

Alberto highlighted trends such as supply chain disruptions, decarbonization, and the need for detailed supplier information. The company recently raised $120 million from Goldman Sachs and aims to provide integrated ESG solutions. He also emphasized the importance of a strong team and a single-minded focus on business goals.

Alberto Zamora, co-founder and CEO of osapiens, holds an MSc. in Journalism and Communication Sciences from the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca. He later pursued Economics at the Universidad de Educacion a Distancia. Alberto’s career includes roles as a developer and consultant at SAP SI and SAP AG. 

In 2006, he co-founded Movilitas Consulting AG, focusing on SAP Track & Trace in pharmaceuticals. He co-founded MovilizerGmbH in 2013, expanding to the USA in 2015. After its sale to Honeywell in 2016, Alberto remained the Managing Director of Germany. In 2018, he co-founded osapiens with Stefan Wawrzinek and Matthias Jungblut. In 2022, Alberto joined the European Economic Senate (EES).
